The Fish Quay has been at the heart of life in North Shields for over 900 years. In 2011 it has become a lively residential, business and social hub, yet nowhere is this history and heritage celebrated. The aim of our group is to work to develop a centre where the story of this rich community life can be shared with both locals and visitors
